Item Description:
The second Book of Shmuel records the reign of Dovid Ha Melech, but it is in no way a rosy-colored picture. At times, it severely criticizes Dovid for his failings and misjudgments, particularly for his failure to control his general Yoav ben Tzeruya and his rebellious son Avshalom. Nonetheless, the Book also records his heroism, leaving us with a holistic view of a great leader with very human flaws.
